Year 2009 "Grant for supporting product development by small manufacturing businesses"Experimental results
Understanding the metal mold castability and material properties for the Permanent mold casting technique used for lead-free and cadmium-free brass material-an environmentally friendly new material-and establishing Permanent mold casting mass production technology for casting parts made from this material.
Thistrial production experiment was planned and conducted by Kitamura Faucetutilizing government projects for supporting trial production and development.
Environmentallyfriendly copper alloy material withconsideration of Pb and Cd contents is already on the market.Wewill continue to search for beneficial methods for utilization of environmentally friendly materials, with a focus onproduction method as well as on materials.
